Killer week!

I never thought school work can actually kill you, but now I'm a staunch believer. Everyone's dying under the piles of assignments, projects, presentations, midterms, and whatnots in Lincoln this week. Of course, that includes me. Thank god for the Omaha zoo trip this saturday, otherwise I will just drop dead! I'm seriously thinking about joining the monkeys to destress. Will keep you guys updated.

Bengkak~ :(

I woke up this morning and immediately checked my bank account--today is payday!!! I was pleasantly surprised to find that the amount I got was much higher than I'd expected. I was happy for the entire day--the research project meeting went smoothly, my software engineering group finished our assignment which is due next week--it was one of those really really good days...until I walked out of the Computer Science department building and walked straight into a stone bench! OUCH~ I was playing with my cellphone as I walked, and I didn't see the bench and literally walked right into it! If you think that a stone bench is harmless...think again! It HURT like s**t!!! But the first thing I did was not to feel the pain but was to look around to see if anyone caught me in action. Once I was sure that nobody saw me, I immediately sat down on that blasted bench and started massaging my poor legs. I could feel a dent in my left leg! It wasn't funny at all!!! :S Then now the dent is gone...replaced by an almighty bump. *sigh* Now both my legs are swollen and red. I just know that when I wake up tomorrow they will be black and blue and everything in between. Aaauuuggghhh~ Why can't I stay bruise-free for more than a day???

Photos!

Latest update: I've finally uploaded some of the nicest pictures from the housewarming party that my housemate and I hosted last Sunday on the My Photos link here! :)

Busy week!

What else is new...just when a hectic week goes by and you sigh in relief, another one creeps up on you and hits you right smack on the head! :P That's how I felt when I looked at my planner today. I thought this week was busy enough, then I realised that I have 2 presentations, a couple of quizes, a couple of meetings, a talk, and a big assignment due next week! All together now, "Aaaaauuuugggghhhh~!!!" Anyway, I'm starting to feel really excited about my trip to Irvine. Yup! I finally bought the ticket! I'll be visiting Kai Wen on November 23rd (tuesday) and coming back to good ol' Lincoln on sunday the 28th. Short, yes, but I hope it will be fun. :D And a little update about my parents' trip to Lincoln...hoping to arrive on December 15th and go back to LA on the 21st--I'll be going with them, yay! Tickets are all bought, so hopefully they can get to the US safely in the beginning of December! I'm so excited!!! Now I have to absolutely make sure that I can graduate on December 18th! Kekekeke~ Anyway, gotta run. Catch up with y'll next time!
