Equilibrium: WATCH IT

If you haven't watched Equilibrium (a film out in 2002), you don't know what you've missed. I saw it today and I was just totally blown away! I haven't seen such beautiful action scenes since The Matrix.








Christian Bale was awesome in this movie...quiet, deadly, passionate, dangerous, fluid, strong...all at the right places in the right doses. Beautiful.

The all-new Yahoo Beta

I know we've all converted to Gmail but I couldn't resist raving about the new look of Yahoo Beta! It's clean, and best of all, it looks like a web-based Mozilla Thunderbird!




I'm a sucker for cool designs (as opposed to functionality and coolness like Gmail), I really am. ;)

Sick

As I did my daily browsing of CNN this morning, I was shocked and totally sickened by this article about a man who cut a willing victim up and ate him (not before the victim and the killer had dined on the victim's penis together though). After reading this article, all I could think of is...who is sicker? The willing victim or the killer??? How sane can you be if you responded to the killer's advertisement on the internet to offer to have yourself killed and eaten? And how SICK do you have to be to actually dine on your own flesh WITH the killer??? Blekkk!!!

What's wrong with people nowadays?! What's wrong with good old steak???

Being the avid Hollywood fan that I am, I stop by entertainment.msn.com every now and then to get the latest scoop on celeb gossip and news as well as my personal favorite, the Undressed! section where they feature celebrities with their horrendous outfits. Today, I nearly choked on my own tongue in laughter as I read this article: 10 Nude Scenes that We Didn't Need to See. It's a must-read! The author has an excellent sense of humor--she managed to make me appear like an idiot trying to stiffle my laughter in the office.
