Happy New Year!

Where do I even begin? 2005 has been a most...eventful year in my life so far. First, I began 2005 as a graduate...then I got my first real web development job (although it was just for the summer). I can't begin to describe how much I learned from this job - some realities of development outside of the classroom, working with people, meeting clients...etc. This summer has been a much-needed break for me away from the classroom too...everything was going fine...then I had to have that seizure in mid-June, which racked up medical bills that caused me more headache than the seizure itself! Thank god St. Elizabeth hospital had such a wonderful financial aid program.

Then August came and I began life as a masters student. I quickly realized that it's not as easy as undergraduate had been...but it's fun too...more independence, more exploration, new friends, new knowledge...it was a lot to absorb. So you can imagine...all the ups and downs for me in 2005...not to mention gaining close friends in the form of Alvin and Ryan (you guys are the best!) and then some. If my good buddy has not been here for me these few recent months, I doubt I would've been able to embrace 2006 with a sane mind (you know who you are, buddy...I thank you with all my heart!).

And then...these will all be set aside in my memory chest as year 2005 once the clock strikes midnight tomorrow...

End of Fall 2005

Another 8.5 hours and I'll be FREE! Free from classes, that is. The project, which is the reason I'm not free yet, is still half done, so I'm blogging with a heavy heart. Wait a second, you ask, if you're stressing out on a project, why are you even blogging in the first place? You lazy bum! Yup, I'm just blogging because I wish I don't have to do my project. :P

Anyway, to everyone who's already done for the semester, hurray and I'm happy for you! Oh, wait, you don't sense the sarcasm? ;)
