Equilibrium: WATCH IT
If you haven't watched Equilibrium (a film out in 2002), you don't know what you've missed. I saw it today and I was just totally blown away! I haven't seen such beautiful action scenes since The Matrix.
Christian Bale was awesome in this movie...quiet, deadly, passionate, dangerous, fluid, strong...all at the right places in the right doses. Beautiful.

You have to watch this!!! It's about a future world after World War 3 where human emotions are now illegal because the leaders claim that human emotion is what leads to anger and jealousy, both identified as causes of war and mass destruction. So they've come up with a drug that suppresses human emotion *sob*. The best thing about this movie is obviously not the storyline (haha), but rather the gorgeous action scenes. You HAVE to watch this!!!
Yeah I am! I'm a total action freak! The cooler the action, the better! Of course it doesn't hurt if the lead actor is a hunk, eh? ;)
