Killer son

For those who haven't read CNN recently, here's a link to the story I'm about to comment on.

So this 22-year old guy shot his entire family dead. It really makes you wonder, what drives a person to kill the closest people he has on earth? Is he out of his mind? High on drugs? Being just plain sick doesn't cut it. I mean, I've had people calling me sick because of my love for gory movies, but it's not like I will take a gun and blow my family away anytime soon. How sick do you have to be to actually do something like that? It's a mystery. And this is not the first time something like that has happened either.

If I'm a psychologist, I'd want to study the minds of people who blew away their close ones. What pushed them over? What made them even think of doing it? Did they hallucinate that their victims are aliens here to destroy planet earth? I can go on forever and come up with a million ideas, but I bet none of them will hit close to home.
